My writing weaves between the personal and the collective, the rational and the instinctual, the sacred and the everyday.

After decades of exploring the emergent nature of human consciousness — nature as we embody and express it through our faculties of perception, narrative and relationship — I remain in awe of our innate longing to extend our presence and curiosity into unfamiliar inner and outer realms, to make meaning, belong and participate to ourselves, and to something much larger into which we are invited to expand.

The Wild River Chronicles is where I share what I've come to understand and continue to discover, about the many ways we are able to know ourselves anew - healing, growing and creating across the arc of our lives.

This is also where I write more personally, sharing autobiography alongside poetry under the pseudonym Milton Ravenscroft — a combination of my second and ancestral names.
